Wedding Venue Hire

Crown Hall Farm is an exclusive use wedding venue. The wedding venue hire fee grants you exclusive access to all our facilities for the duration of your wedding, as well as:

  • The services our our professional and friendly team before and during your wedding

  • Customising some of the features of our marquee

  • A state of the art wedding disco with a professional DJ

On this page you will find information about all the items that our venue hire fee covers. We have grouped these items in three categories: (1) wedding planning stage, (2) organising stage and (3) wedding day.

Just Married

1. Wedding planning

  • Visit to the venue prior to booking

  • Customer support via email, telephone and face to face meetings as required before your wedding day

  • Advice and assistance in customising your chosen wedding package or creating your bespoke wedding

2. Organising your wedding

  • Briefing the DJ about your music tastes and all your favourite songs

  • Briefing the catering team about special dietary requirements for any of your guests

  • Customising the layout inside the marquee to suit your preference. The options include a formal set up for traditional weddings, or an informal style with poseur tables and bar stools, or a relaxed setting with Moroccan cushions and low tables

  • Customising the lighting to match your colour scheme and the mood you wish to achieve

  • Preparing a seating plan for packages that include a formal dinner

  • Access to the venue form 10 am on the day of the wedding, or the day before if there are no other events booked for that day at Crown Hall Farm.

We operate an exclusive approved supplier list, so that we can guarantee the utmost  quality for your event.

3. During your wedding

Crown Hall Farm is an exclusive use wedding venue, so our luxury marquee, the grounds and parking area will be yours for the duration of your wedding.

​Outdoor
  • Landscaped grounds and a rustic bridge over a picturesque lake and outside seating area

  • Characterful boat house overlooking the lake, which can be used for civil ceremonies

  • A unique outdoor boat bar, 20ft long, perfect for serving welcome drinks and canapés. The bar is fully licenced and can be tailored to your taste

  • Fun bus stop

  • A catering marquee within the main marquee with trestle tables, lighting, water and power supply

  • Parking for 65 cars and 3 coaches

  • Luxury boutique toilets

The Marquee

You and your guests will find a comfortable space in our large, luxury marquee with climate control. It has a modern and clean design, with wood effect anti-slip tiled floor throughout. The panoramic windows on two sides can be lifted to provide an inside-outside space. 
The marquee can accommodate up to 150 seated guests. It can also be arranged to create a cosy space for a smaller, more intimate wedding.
There is a large, fully licenced rustic bar and a dance floor for your wedding disco.

Lighting Effects

All wedding packages include ambient lights and lighting effects inside the marquee and throughout the grounds. There are various lighting options to create different moods, according to your preference. 
In the evening, the grounds will be transformed with twinkly lights on the mast of the cocktail bar boat, festoon lights along the paths and coloured lights in the trees. 

Furniture and furnishings

Choose one of the following three options or a combination of them:

  • Formal dining setup - Round tables with crisp white table linen and limewash Chiavari chairs with comfortable seat pads 

  • Informal - poseur tables and bar stools to create a larger dance space

Lighting effects - included as standard in the wedding venue hire fee
  • Relaxed - low tables and Moroccan cushions for your guests to sit on

Sound system - included as standard in the wedding venue hire fee
Sound System

We provide a sophisticated sound system that makes the best of the acoustic environment in the marquee.

Entertainment

A wedding disco with a professional DJ is included in the wedding venue hire fee. The DJ will play your song choice for the first dance and all your favourite songs throughout so everyone will want to be on the dance floor.

Professional and Friendly Event Staff

Every wedding is attended by a professional team. The number of people we provide will depend on the size of your wedding and the dining style you choose.

The team who will attend your wedding will include:

  • A Wedding Coordinator, who will have been involved in the planning and organising of your wedding and be familiar with all your preferences.

  • Car park attendants to greet your guests and show them where to park.

  • Catering Staff - if you opt for formal dining, waiters and waitresses will serve you and your guests at the table. Buffets are overseen by an appropriate number of people. If you opt for barbeque, our catering team will be cooking and overseeing. If the BBQ is for the main wedding breakfast, then you will have it served to the top table.

  • Bar Staff inside the marquee and at the boat bar by the lake.
